Going to Rome

Our spring break is four weeks long, and for two of those i planned on visiting the states (finally). What to do for the other two?
Well, I wanted to visit italy, and my flatmate Payman talked me into Rome, and the cheapest flight out was from London. So I packed my bags, and asked Dave and Jean if they would be willing to let me stay for a bit. So a week in London, and than i caught a bus to the Luton Airport. And if you take a look at the pictures from the airport to Marrakech, it was basically that scene all over again. I didn't get much sleep because i was frozen stiff from the floor. (and nervous someone would steal my things). Rome was marvelous.
Because of a whirlwind visit in highschool I had already seen all the major monuments so this time i decided to just experience Rome (I wandered...alot) I trailed random people (I didn't have any particular plans) And got lost! Not surprising, i know, but handy when you don't plan on being or getting anywhere in particular. The first day I wandered down to the Roman Forum.
When i looked at the map, I was surprised to find how far I had walked without even realizing it.
Admittedly, I didn't take that many pictures while in Rome, because I decided I just wanted to experience the moments and not pause them with the push of a button. So the pictures are few and far between. I had so much fun wandering and ducking into random alleys that i forgot i was going to see art and churches. I mean, I did pop into a couple of churches (it was selfish though...I needed to sit down for a spell).
